A twirly night of House

Sunday, after seeing Telle and Chica Fugett as muchkin/poppy and Toto in the Wizard of Oz, AMC and I got to play parents, which is a close translation to playing house. While "mermaids" was definitely #1 game in my book (hello adventures!) luckily, I did get some time in the house playing department. Thank goodness because when they are with me, most everyone thinks that Cutter and Telle are my kids. After so many times of me being referred to as their mom, none of us even bother to correct, we just go with it.

We went to the amusement park by the lake. It's just like a carnival-- with twirly rides and games no one ever wins that you can't resist. We all twirled (on swings) that looked like we were headed right for the trees, twirled more in spaceships that felt like we were to be flung into the lake and got jerked around on an ancient metal coaster that AMC and I thought was broken and we were doomed (we said lots of cuss words!)

We survived, and have pictures to prove our feats:

Meet George Jetson and his son, Elroy

AMC and I took a breather after the swings while the kids played "heart flip"

As Telle went wild on the controls I decided to calm myself by "enjoying the view"

Telle really broke a leg in her performance in the Wizard of Oz!
